DryPointe inserts were initially created for pointe shoes, which are made to break down easily giving the dancer support and flexibility at the same time. Moisture from sweat breaks down the box (front part) of the pointe shoe which is made of layers of fabric and glue. It is very important to keep the shoes dry between uses for the glue to harden up and maintain proper shape, thus extend the life of your pointe shoes!
Placing DryPointe Shoe Inserts inside the box allows the inserts to dry the shoe completely and be ready for the next time you need them. The form-fitting inserts maintain the proper shape of the box and avoid creases while drying. We recommend the X-small size for narrow shoes under size 39 and the Small size for wide shoes 39 and above. DryPointes are used by dancers across the USA, Canada, Mexico, Philippines, Hungary, and many other countries!
